INDIANAPOLIS – The Marian men's tennis team picked up their fourth straight victory after defeating Campbellsville 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Marian Tennis Courts. The win improves the Knights' overall record to 14-7.

The Knights won the doubles points after getting wins at No. 3 and No. 2 doubles. Mark Griffin and Jona Henze won 6-0 over Maximiliano Roman and Lucas Guielbaud before Ashwin Bhat and Jones McNamar defeated Hernan Toledo and Sebastian Toledo 6-3. Shadi Al Tori and Andrew Ilett were trailing 4-3 to Nicolas Andrade and Nahuel Hernando at No. 1 doubles before the point was clinched.

Campbellsville picked up the first singles point with Ilett falling 6-0, 6-4 to Andrade at No. 3 singles. Griffin began the domination for the Knights with his 6-3, 6-4 win over Roman at the No. 1 spot before Bhat won 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 against S. Toledo at No. 4 singles. Dmitrii Voshchenkov defeated H. Toledo 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot, while McNamar won at No. 6 singles 6-2, 6-1 over Nicolas Weisner, and Henze picked up the 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) win over Hernando.

Marian will travel to South Bend on Friday to take on Holy Cross at 7 p.m.
