
Marian University Athletics Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Services
Marian University Athletics Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Services are partners in responsibility for the health care of the more than 800 student-athletes in 30 intercollegiate sports at our great Catholic institution of higher learning. The athletic training program focuses on the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for all intercollegiate student-athletes.

Athletic Training Facility Hours
The Marian University Athletic Training Room is open Monday through Friday to administer treatment to all Marian University student-athletes.

Hours:
Monday and Friday
12 p.m. to the end of the last practice
Hours for appointments are from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday
10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Weekend hours are dependent on game and practice schedules

2025-26 PHYSICAL DATES AND INFORMATION
2023-2024 Physical dates and times are open to all athletes and will be determined at a later date. Physicals cost $30.
  August 4 | 3-5 PM (PE Center)
August 11 | 3-5 PM (PE Center)
Marian University Student-Athlete Medical Forms
- Incoming freshman or new transfers need to obtain a new physical.
- Sophomores, juniors and seniors that are returning athletes are not required to obtain a new physical.
- The cost is $30 and checks can be made to Marian University Athletics.
- Athletic physicals must be turned in to the athletic training room before the first team activity or they will not be able to participate.

Secondary Insurance Information
- Insurance information form must be filled out every year.
- Athlete's family insurance will be primary insurance for injuries.
- We have a secondary insurance policy through BMI. Medical bills must be processed by the athlete's primary insurance company before the secondary policy has any liability.
- If you receive bills from an injury, make sure they are sent to the athletic training room so we can process them quickly with our secondary insurance company.

Athletic Training Facility Equipment and Services
The Marian University Athletic Training Facility offers a variety of services to treat injuries and maintain the overall well-being of Marian University student-athletes. The Athletic Training Facility features office space for four full-time athletic trainers as well as enough space for a variety of taping stations, treatment tables, above ground pools, and more.Â
