LIMA, Ohio – The Marian women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-3 victory over the University of Northwestern Ohio on Saturday afternoon. The win puts the Knights at 19-9 overall on the season.

Emma Chrome and Isadora Muller got the 6-0 decision against Veronika Kovalchuk and Abigail Beck at No. 3 doubles to get things started, but UNOH tied it up with a 6-1 win at the No. 2 spot as Tea Vrkic and Dana Savarino fell to Ana Cetina and Jelena Lopicic. Katharina Bopst and Betija Dusele were able to clinch the doubles point at No. 1 doubles after defeating Neo Mafuyeka and Alizee Ripolles 6-3.

The Racers took 3-1 lead after winning the first three singles matches. Bopst fell 6-1, 6-4 to Ripolles at the No. 2 spot, while Dusele dropped 6-3, 6-1 to Cetina, and Chrome lost 4-6, 6-4, 1-6 against Lopicic. Muller kept the Knights alive with her 6-3, 6-0 victory over Kovalchuk at No. 4 singles, while Savarino took down Mafuyeka 6-4, 6-1 to even the score. With the score tied, Joelle Leihbacher came up big with her 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 6 spot to clinch the match for Marian.
