Indianapolis, Ind. - The Marian women's tennis team end home regular season play for the fall undefeated after 7-0 win over St. Francis (Ind.). The Knights are now 7-0 overall and in the Crossroads League.
Paloma Caceres Villalba and 
Liliane Alinquant won by default at No. 3 doubles. 
Dana Savarino and 
Joelle Leihbacher finished next with a win at No. 2 doubles with a final count of 6-1 to claim the first point for the Knights. Unfortunately, 
Sara Corrio Alemany and 
Elisa Roccaforte fell at No. 1 doubles with a final score of 3-6 for the only defeat of the day. 
In singles action 
Ana Barbosa Fernandez and Alinquant won by default at No. 5 and No. 6 singles to increase the lead 3-0. Leigbacher, 
Mara Schad, and Savrino all won at No. 4, No. 3, and No. 2 singles in final counts of consecutive 6-0. Roccaforte was the last to finish with a win at No. 1 singles with final counts of 6-0 and 6-1 to seccure the 7-0 sweep over the Cougars.
The Knights are back in action Thursday, September 19th starting their ITA tournament run on the road at Marion, Ind.
