Marietta, Ga. - The Marian men's bowling team completed their third tournament of the 2025-26 season on Sunday afternoon, finishing fifth at the Bowlero Southern Collegiate Classic. Marian's efforts were led by Maxwell Berche's individual 12th place finish.
Maxwell Berche was Marian's top individual finisher, placing 12th overall with a 1065 total over five games. Berche had a top game of 247 in his efforts, and averaged 213 pins per game.
Caden Lester and
Cayleb Carey each finished with a score of 1027, averaging 205.4 pins per game. Lester finished 23rd with a top score of 232, while Carey finished 24th.Â
Jacob Neubauer finished 94th after bowling in four games, logging a total of 736 pins in his outing. Hayden Folwer bowled three games and totaled 555 pins, and
Kyle Toyias logged 342 pins in two games.
Jordan Bauerle competed in the first of five games and shot a 156.
Marian would finish fifth overall in the event following the conclusion of baker game play on Sunday. The Knights were eighth in the field of 23 following the individual play on Saturday.
The Knights travel to Ohio this weekend to compete in the annual Wright State Raider Classic.Â
