Beavercreek, Ohio- The Marian men's bowling finished off the weekend with another top-five placement with a fourth-place qualification at the Raider Classic. The seventh-ranked Knights were led by
Hayden Fowler to qualify fourth in individual play. After bracket play, the Knights came out on top, finishing first overall.
Vincennes University took home the win with 7801 total points. The Ohio State University finished as the runner-up with 7606, while the University of Northwestern Ohio finished in third with 7530 points. Marian came in fourth with 7491 points, while Muskingum University rounded out the top five with 7437 points. The only other Crossroads League team was Huntington, which finished in eighth.
Hayden Fowler led the Knights, finishing in second overall with 928 pins knocked down, recording a game high of 265 in game four. Charley Shrader from the first JV squad of Knights was the next to place in fifth, knocking down 914 pins with a game high of 279 in game four.
Jordan Bauerle was the third Knight to place, rounding out the top-10, recording a total of 879 pins knocked down with a game high of 258 in game four.
Cayleb Carey was the next to place in 24th, knocking down 842 pins with a game high of 210.
Jacob Neubauer finished in 28th with 838 pins knocked down with a game high of 212. Maxwell Berche finished in 157th bowling in two games with 379 points, bowling a game high of 191 in game one.
Kyle Toyias finished in 165th bowling in two games with 357 points, with a game high of 179 in game two.
In JV action, Marian finished in both first and second with 7179 and 6957 points. The University of Northwestern Ohio's JV squad came in third, while Robert Morris University came in fourth. The Ohio State University's JV team finished in fifth, rounding out the top five.
In individual action for the first JV squad, Joe Buczynski finished in 31st,
Jonathan Cho finished in 50th,
Braden Kidd finished in 133rd,
Joseph Adams finished in 153rd,
Elijah Liming finished in 159th, and
Braydon Book finished in 188th. On the second team,
Logan Brewer finished in 20th, Robert Stephenson finished in 34th,
Nathan Danz finished in 61st,
Landon Million finished in 136th,
Ray Olatubi finished in 146th,
Hunter Browning finished in 192nd, and
Caden Roberts finished in 206th.
Marian will be back in action as they travel to O'Fallon, Illinois, to compete in the National Collegiate Team Match Games on November 22nd-23rd.
