The Marian men's bowling team competed in the program's first two Crossroads League matches of the season over the weekend, competing Friday in Marion, Indiana, and on Saturday in Bluffton, Indiana. FRIDAY
Marian finished second as a team on Friday, totaling a score of 5156, trailing Spring Arbor's first place total of 5202. Indiana Wesleyan finished third ahead of Huntington, while Goshen, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Grace, and Bethel rounded out the finishing order.
For the JV, Marian's second lineup finished second with a 4581 score, while the top lineup finished third with a 4540 score.
Jonathan Cho was the lead JV1 bowler for the Knights, finishing eighth in the field with a 584 score.
Elijah Liming led JV2 with a 575 score, placing 10th individually.
Marian's lead individual on Friday was
Hayden Fowler, who won the event with a 632 score. Fowler averaged a 210.7 over the three individual games and had a strong start to his day with a 234 score. Below are the results for the varsity:

Marian finished their weekend with a first-place finish on Saturday, totaling a score of 5604. Indiana Wesleyan came in second with a score of 5372, and Spring Arbor came in third with a score of 5321. Huntington finished in fourth ahead of Goshen, while Bethel, Grace, and Mount Vernon rounded out the finishing order.
Marian's first JV lineup led the way with a total of 5292, while the second team came in fourth with a total of 4633. Joe Buczynski led the JV1 team, finishing in sixth place with a total of 650.
Bobby Stephenson was the top bowler for the JV2 team, finishing in 15th with a total score of 614.Â
Marian's lead individual on Saturday was
Jordan Bauerle, who finished in eighth place with a score of 639. Bauerle averaged a 213 over the three individual games and had a strong finsih to his day with a 234 score. Below are the results for the varsity:
