Addison, Ill. - The Marian men's bowling competed at the annual ITC Sectionals over the weekend, finishing eighth overall in the team standings.
Cayleb Carey led the Knights individually over the weekend.
As a team, Marian competed in 64 baker games in the team qualifier, scoring a total of 12677 pins. The team competed in four blocks of 16 games during the weekend, averaging 198 pins per game over the 64 different baker games.
Individually, it was
Cayleb Carey who led Mairan, finishing 20th overall. Carey bowled a total of 1256 pins over 20 games.
Kyle Toyias finished two pins behind his teammate, scoring a 1254 and placing 22nd, and
Jacob Neubauer finished with a 1225 total, placing 35th.
Jordan Bauerle finished 38th with a 1222 finish, and
Braden Kidd kept the pace, finishing 42nd with his 1213 total.
Marian competes at the NAIA National Championship this weekend, aiming to end their season as defending NAIA Champions.
