GREENWOOD, Ind. - The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams were released on Tuesday, selected by College Sports Communicators, and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the mat. For the first time in program history, the men's wrestling program at Marian University was featured on the team, with
Jeff Dunasky Jr. earning the team's first-ever recognition on the Academic All-District Team.
To be named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA or better, be a sophomore or older, and participate in the lineup for at least 75 percent of team scoring events, such as open tournaments and duals, or compete in their weight class at a conference championship meet.
Jeff Dunasky competed both at the conference tournament and at the NAIA Championship, going 17-13 overall on the year as he competed in his second career NAIA Championship. Dunasky was a member of the Second Team WHAC All-Conference Team, and was a three-time WHAC and NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
In the classroom, Dunasky carried a 3.81 GPA, and is currently working to obtain his master's degree in Mental Health and School Counseling.
The Knights were one of four affiliate members of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) to earn an Academic All-District honoree, joining Taylor, Mount Vernon, and Goshen, who all successfully nominated men's volleyball or men's lacrosse players. Indiana Tech and Rochester Christian were the only full-time members of the WHAC to earn recognition, with the two schools nominating a combined four wrestlers.
Dunasky joined bowling's Kyle Toyias, and men's golf's Weston Ogden, Lane Zedrick, Nolan Potter, and Augie Mann as Marian's 2026 CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team members.
Marian had a strong year in 2025-26, winning the WHAC Tournament Championship for the first time in program history. Marian earned a top-15 placement at the NAIA Championship, returning among the NAIA elite once again this season.
