Aubrey Fain serves as the Assistant Coach for Marian University Competitive Cheer, bringing firsthand experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of the program’s culture to the coaching staff.
As Assistant Coach, Fain works closely with the Head Coach in program planning, athlete development, and competitive preparation. Her responsibilities include assisting with choreography, skill progression, and daily practice operations, as well as mentoring student-athletes throughout their collegiate experience. She is regularly entrusted to help lead practices and support competitive decision-making, reflecting her strong leadership presence and connection with the team.
A 2025 graduate of Marian University, Fain was a standout member of the Knights’ competitive cheer team and played an integral role in the program’s success during her collegiate career. She earned multiple All-Crossroads League honors as a student-athlete and was recognized for her consistency, work ethic, and leadership on and off the mat.
Fain’s transition from student-athlete to coach allows her to offer a unique perspective, combining technical knowledge with an authentic understanding of the Marian Cheer experience. Her commitment to excellence, accountability, and team-first values continues to positively impact the growth and success of the Knights’ competitive cheer program.
In addition to coaching at Marian, Fain is an elementary school teacher, bringing the same dedication to leadership, education, and mentorship into both roles.

Prior to Marian, Fain cheered at Ben Davis High School and competed as an All-Star cheer athlete, where she trained under current Marian Tumbling Coach Ashlee Buczek. Her experience helped build a strong foundation in tumbling, technique, and competitive cheer that carried into her collegiate career.
