INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's bowling team finished play in the annual Columbia 300 Western Shootout Sunday afternoon, held at Western Bowl in Indianapolis. The Knights team finished fourth overall in the field while the JV team finished sixth, as the team was led by Nicholas Archacki who was named to the All-Tournament team with a second place overall finish.

The Knights scored 9095 pins over the two day event, which was good for the fourth highest total in the event. Saint Xavier won the tournament with a 9234 score, while Calumet College placed second with a 9228 score. Rock Valley College defeated Marian by 58 pins, as they took home third place. Marian's score was 21 pins better than Indiana Tech who finished fifth, while McKendree took sixth with a 9072 score. 

Marian will next be in action on October 29 and 30, playing in the Boilermaker Classic, an event hosted in Lafayette, Ind.
