Dayton, Ohio – The Marian men's bowling team had a successful weekend at the Raider Classic after having two bowlers, Adarius Reese and Trevor Lawson finish in the top 20 to help guide the Knights to a first-place finish with an overall score of 8322.
Reese took the top spot for Marian with an 18th place finish, bowling a 1045 and averaging 209 over the five games. Lawson was the other top-20 finisher, coming in 19th with a 1044. Nickolas Archacki had a solid performance as he bowled a 1030 to come in 26th, while Dylan Mollo bowled a 1026 to finish right behind in 27th. Rounding out the Marian lineup was Alex Wiles who finished in 28th, bowling a 1024.
In baker play, the Knights finished with a total 3153, averaging a 197.1 to propel them to a first-place overall finish with an 8322.
JV Results
Marian's JV squad finished with a score of 4509, behind Joseph Buczynski who bowled a 946. Dylan Anderson bowled a 922, while Chad Burgess finished with a 916 and Connor Carr had a 902. Finishing the Marian's lineup was Seth Becker and Jacob Cramer, bowling a 472 and 351.
In baker play, Marian finished with a 3083 to finish with an overall score of 7592 in the tournament.
Marian will be back in action November 19-20 to compete in the Collegiate Team Match Games held in Fairview Heights, Ill.
