Fairview Heights, Ill. – The Marian men's bowling team finished ninth in their final event of the 2022 calendar year, competing at the Collegiate Team Match Games over the weekend. Wichita State University took home the title after bowling a 10915, with Webber International finishing runner up with an overall score of 10874.
Marian finished the tournament with an overall score of 9998 to finish ninth out of 23 teams, and seven places higher than fellow Crossroads League opponent Huntington.
Nickolas Archacki was paced Marian, who finished 28th overall with a total of 1244 pins. Archacki averaged 207.3 in his six games bowled. Following Archakcki were three Knights, finishing in 31st, 32nd, and 33rd. Alex Wiles and Dylan Mollo each bowled a total of 1239 through their six games, while Kyle Toyias was next after finishing with a 1226.
Marian will resume their season in January at the Midwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Ill.
