Addison, Ill. – The Marian men's bowling team finished 26th in their first event of the 2023 calendar year, competing at the ISBPA/Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic over the weekend. Savannah College of Art and Design took home the title after bowling a 5524, with Muskingum University finishing runner up with an overall score of 5224.
Marian finished the tournament with an overall score of 4999 to finish 26th out of 72 teams.
Nickolas Archacki paced Marian with a 1062 through five games to finish 46th overall. Following Archacki were Alex Wiles who finished 100th with a total of 999 pins, and Kyle Toyias who bowled a 988.
Chad Burgess was next for Marian finishing with a 662 in three games bowled. Adarius Reese also bowled three games and finished with a 494, while Dylan Mollo bowled two games and ended with a score of 412. Both Trevor Lawson and Matt Watson bowled in one game, finishing with scores of 220 and 162.
The Knights will have a week off before coming back on January 28 for their third Crossroads League Meet of the season.
