Knights Continue Win Streak In Road Win Over Bethel

Mishawaka, Ind. - The Knights continue their win streak on the road in a 76-67 game over the Bethel Pilots. Scoring was lead by Ella Collier with 26 points and Kinnidy Garrard with 19 points in total for the night. Marian is now 24-1 overall and 15-0 in the Crossroads League.

The Knights took the late lead in the 5th minute of the 1st quarter with a Sara Majorosova basket bringing the score 9-8 in favor of the Knights. Majorosova continued to bring the heat into the 1st quarter to score 8 points in total. Bringing the score to 25-14 in favor of the Knights.

Kinnidy Garrard scored the first point early in the 2nd quarter bringing the score to a 11 point difference. Aliyah Evans and Ella Collier continued to bring the energy into the quarter both scoring within the same minute to continue to bring the lead into double digits. At the end of the half Collier continued to lead in scoring with 17 points scored.


Early in the 3rd quarter Collier added to the Knights lead with help from Garrard with an early steal. Abbey McNally got a late start into the third quarter with a layup bringing the score to 46-40 in favor of the Knights. Allison Bosse and Tamia Perryman both helped to maintain the Knights lead by both scoring layups late in the 3rd quarter.


In the beginning of the 4th quarter Collier and McNally both continued to bring the lead against the pilots into double digits. Late into the 4th quarter Evans, Garrard, McNally, and Bosse all added to the score allowing the Knights to maintain their lead late into the game.


Kinnidy Garrard picked up two blocks in the game allowing her to pass Jenna Sullivan as the leading blocker in Marian Women's Basketball with the most career blocked shots.

The Knights will be back in action at home in the P.E. Center for Senior Day this Saturday, February 17th at 1:00pm v.s. the St. Francis Cougars.
