INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's track and field team had ample success in their penultimate meet of the 2023-24 season, hitting three NAIA A Standard marks as they hosted a last chance meet. Marian's 4x100m relay was one of new A standard marks hit on Wednesday.
The group of
Armani Glass,
Jeremiah Brown,
Manny Manneh, and
Olivier Lifrange hit an A standard time of 40.90 seconds in the 4x100m relay, as the group automatically qualified for the NAIA National Championships with their time. Marian will take a top-20 time to Indiana Wesleyan later this month with their time set today.
Gunner Kovach won the high jump with an A Standard and personal best of 2.05m, while
Olivier Lifrange hit an A standard in the 400m, clocking a 47.88 time. Lifrange ranks 22nd nationally after the meet and Kovach ranks 13th.Â
Andrew McDade earned a win in the 800m in his final home meet, and Glass won the long jump.Â
