INDIANAPOLIS - Promotional dates and themes for Marian University football have been finalized for the 2024 season home schedule played at Ascension St. Vincent Field. The Knights are ranked No. 7 in the NAIA GoRout Preseason Top-25 poll released today.

Marian University will have a pair of new features at each home game this season, enhancing the overall fan experience at home football games. This summer, a new video scoreboard, backed by generous donors and Merchants Bank, was installed and completed by Daktronics. Fans familiar with the video scoreboard in the PE Center and Marian arena can expect a similar feel to the new video board at Ascension St. Vincent Field, with new features planned to be revealed throughout the season.

In addition to the video board, the 2024 season will mark the first in which Marian football games will have alcohol sales. In partnership with Bier Brewing, Marian University is proud to announce beer sales throughout regular season home games. For the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests at Marian University, fans will be asked to adhere to the following policies:

1. Limit of 3 Beers Per Person: Each guest is limited to purchasing a maximum of 3 beers during the game.
2. ID Required: You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and consume beer. You must present a valid state or federally issued photo ID. A university ID will not suffice.
3. Alcohol Consumption Areas: Beer consumption is allowed only within the stadium seating and standing room sections. No open containers are permitted outside the stadium. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the playing field at Ascension St. Vincent Field, before, during, and after games. 
4. Service Cut-off: Beer sales will end at the conclusion of the third quarter.
5. Responsible Drinking: Please drink responsibly and be mindful of those around you.
6. No Outside Alcohol: Bringing outside alcohol into the stadium is strictly prohibited.
7. Behavioral Expectations: Disorderly conduct, including excessive intoxication, will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the stadium.

Marian's home-opening game on September 14 will kick off a busy fall promotional schedule, as Family Weekend and the Marian Football Alumni Night headline the first contest of the season at Ascension St. Vincent Field. The 6:05 p.m. kickoff against Concordia will also serve as the annual fireworks night, and students will be given t-shirts at the game. All fans are encouraged to find their navy shirts for the home opener, as the game theme will be a blue-out.

After a pair of games on the road, Marian will host Indiana Wesleyan on October 12, and another student t-shirt giveaway will be the highlighted promotion. The theme of the matchup against Indiana Wesleyan will be a gold-out, and the contest will serve as Youth Day, with youth football teams being honored and recognized at the game.

October 19 will be another big-ticket promotion, as the 2024 homecoming game will come against Olivet Nazarene University. A new giveaway will be rolling out to fans and students at the game, with a straw bucket hat serving as the gameday item. More details and activities regarding the homecoming game will be announced later on all Marian University social media channels. 

The final game in the month of October takes place on Saturday the 26th, with the annual Franciscan Bowl game against the University of Saint Francis. Digital camoflauge koozies will be the gameday giveaway, going out to 500 fans and students. On November 9, the regular season at Ascension St. Vincent Field will come to an end, with senior day and a Salute to Service Game capping the slate. The Salute to Service Game will admit any military and service members with I.D. into the Judson game for free.
