Indianapolis, Ind. - The Marian men's tennis team claim a victory 5-2 over Goshen Saturday afternoon. The Knights are now 4-2 overall and in the Crossroads League.

Jan Bartolome and Jones McNamar fall in No. 2 singles with final counts of 3-6. James Ashworth and Tjark Kunkel finished victorious next at No. 1 doubles with a final count of 6-2. Juan Garcia-Tunon and Marcos Cabrera Ramos clinched the doubles point for the Knights at No.3 with a final count of 6-2. 

Bartolome claimed victory finishing first at No. 4 singles with final counts of 6-4 and 6-2. Bogdan Precupescu fell at No. 3 singles with consecutive final counts of 4-6. Ashworth came out victorious at No. 1 singles with final counts of 6-4 and 7-5. Kunkel fell at No. 2 singles with final counts of 6-1, 4-6, and 6-0. Garcia-Tunon finished off victorious at No. 5 singles with final counts of 6-2 and 6-4. Ramos Cabrera finished off victorious at No. 6 singles with final counts of 6-2 and 6-0. To claim the 5-2 victory over Goshen.

The Knights are back in action Monday, September 16th at 3:00 p.m. at home against St. Francis (Ind.).
