Upland, Ind. - Marian Women's Cross Country finishes in the top-5 at the Ray Bullock Invitational to open up their jam packed weekend. The 10th ranked Knights finished in fifth at Taylor with Katie Woods leading the way finishing as the individual runner-up. 

Taylor won the event with 24 total points with each of their seven runners placing in the top-16 individually. Indiana Wesleyan finished as the runner-up with 67 points while Grace finished in third while the University of Indianapolis finished in fourth. Marian's team earned 172 points, with their top-seven runners each finishing in the top-90 individually. 

Continuing her outstanding senior season Katie Woods finished as the individual runner-up clocking a time of 21:46.4 for the 6k pacing an average of 5:51. Isabella Murch was the next to finish for the Knights clocking a time of 23:57.8 with a pace of 6:27 to finish 34th overall. Gracie Fields was the next to join in the top-50 with a time of 24:33.0 pacing a 6:36 to finish in 47th. 

Sabrina Siems was the next Knight to finish with a time of 25:36.0 pacing a 6:53. Emily Baker was the sixth person to finish from Marian with a time of 26:57.6 pacing a 7:15. Gracie Adams was the last Knight in the top-seven finishing with a time of 27:49.1 pacing a 7:29.

The Knights will be back in action tomorrow as they compete at the University of Alabama Huntsville Chargers Invitational.
