INDIANAPOLIS - The final month of the regular season nears this Saturday, as Marian opens the month of November at home against the University of St. Francis (Ill.). The November 1 kick is set for 1:05 p.m. as the Knights host the Fighting Saints from Ascension St. Vincent Field.
THE SERIES
Marian has owned their series against St. Francis (Ill.), holding a record of 9-1 all-time against the Fighting Saints. Marian won last year's meeting 37-28 in the regular season finale, taking down the Saints in their MSFA Midwest League Co-Champion clinching game. Head coach
Ted Karras Jr. is 4-0 all-time against St. Francis (Ill.), with this meeting on Saturday marking the first in the history played in Indianapolis since 2022.
LAST TIME OUT
Marian went on the road and scored a top-25 victory at Olivet Nazarene, winning 44-36.
Alijah Price turned the game in Marian's favor in the fourth quarter, as the freshman changed a 30-30 tie to a 37-30 lead with his 95-yard kickoff return touchdown. Marian would get a later score from
Keagan La Belle to extend their lead to two touchdowns, while a late strip-sack from
Isaiah Street ended any last-ditch comeback efforts for the Tigers.Â
LA BELLE HUNTING RECORDS
Keagan La Belle has had a dominant rushing season, having scored 16 rushing touchdowns through the Knights' first eight games of the season. The senior running back La Belle, who has only played in seven of the team's games this season, enters the final three weeks of the regular season with the single-season rushing touchdown record in his sights. The current record, held by Wall of Fame member Tevin Lake, is 18 touchdowns. The current senior needs just three scores to break the record, while a fourth rushing touchdown would move him past Charles Salary on the career rushing touchdown mantle.Â
La Belle is currently amidst a 14-game scoring streak, the second-longest in program history behind wide receiver great Krishawn Hogan. Hogan's scoring record is 20 games.Â

Marian has had a strong season, with their record reflecting their national ranks in the NAIA stats pages. Marian holds a top-10 mark in the following categories:
- 1st in red zone touchdowns - 85% (34-40)
- 2nd in interceptions - 14
