Ann Arbor, Mich. - The Marian competitive dance team recorded a program record on Saturday, as the Knights posted their top-score in the history of the team's competition run. Marian placed second overall at the Concordia Invite.
Marian scored an 87.30 in the competition, marking their highest score in program history. The score improvement is a seven-point differential from the previous school record, which was recorded in 2023 at an NAIA Dance Regional. Although it was the top score in team-history, Marian was unable to take down Concordia University, who posted an 88.83 team total.Â
The competition was served as a preview to the WHAC Championship, with six conference members performing on Saturday.Â
