Indianapolis, Ind. - The Marian women's tennis team bounce back from ther loss to No. 11 SCAD-Savannah with a 7-0 defeat over (RV) Missouri Baptist. The Knights are now 10-7 overall on the season.

Michelle Irigoyen and Ana Lopez Torres open up the day with a quick 6-0 win over the Spartans at court No. 2. Yasmin Imamniyazova and Ana Barbosa Fernandez sealed the deal earning the point with a 6-1 win at No. 1. Paloma Caceres Villalba and Liliane Alinquant went unfinished at No. 3 but maintained a 5-1 lead.

In singles action the Knights took the full sweep starting off with Imamniyazova taking the 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 while Caceres Villalba took the 6-2, 6-0 win at No. Irigoyen was the next to finish with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 and Alinquant was the next to finish at No. 5, 6-3 and 6-0. Barbosa Fernandez wrapped it up at No. 4, 6-2 and 6-0 and Lopez Torres ended the match at No. 2, 6-3 and 6-2.

The Knights are back in action on the road on Friday, March 14th at 3pm as they travel to Williamsburg, Ky. to take on No. 19 Cumberlands.
