Savannah, Ga. - The Marian men's tennis team fell to No. 11 SCAD-Savannah. The Knights are now 8-8 overall on the season.
The Bee's took the full sweep at doubles with a 5-7 win at No. 1 over
Jones McNamar and
James Ashworth and at No. 3 over
Tjark Kunkel and
Jan Bartolome. Juan Garcia-Tunon and
Marcos Ramos Cabrera fell at No. 2, 6-0.Â
Bogdan Presupescu fell at No. 1, 6-4, 6-0 while Ashworth fell at No. 2, 6-1, 6-2. Garcia-Tunon and Bartolome fell at No. 3 and No. 4 with Juan falling 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 and Jan falling 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4. Ramos Cabrera earned a point at No. 5, 6-4, 6-1 while Kunkel took the point at No. 6, 6-2, 6-2.
The Knights are back in action on Wednesday, March 12th as they take on (RV) Missouri Baptist at home with doubles action starting at 10 am.
