INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian athletic training staff is growing once more, as Jack Peters has accepted a role with the Knights Sports Medicine Staff. Jack Peters will be one of five athletic trainers for Marian athletics and begins working with the Knights on July 1.

Peters joined the Marian Sports Medicine Staff in July 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He comes to Marian by way from Purdue University, where he gained athletic training experience in high school, clinic, industrial, and NCAA DI athletic settings. 

A Southern California native, he obtained his Bachelor's degree from Sacramento State in 2023 while working as an intern primarily for the football and soccer teams. Peters then obtained his Master's degree from Purdue University in 2025 while serving the Boilermaker swim and dive team. He also worked with the Boilermaker football team during the 24-25 season. 

Peters is certified through the BOC and licensed by the Indiana PLA. He is a member of the NATA and is certified in CPR/AED through the American Heart Association. He also holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid, and Graston M1 Technique. 

Jack lives in Zionsville with his girlfriend, Ella, and their cat Leia.
