Kenosha, Wis. - The Marian women's cross country team returned to action on Saturday morning, running at the Wisconsin-Parkside Lucian Rosa Invitational. In a loaded field of NCAA DII and NAIA schools, the Knights finished 16th out of 23 teams, while
Katie Woods earned at top-40 finish.
The Knights had a total team time of 1:55.56 in their second meet of the 2025 season, averaging a 23:11 time per runner in the 6K race. Marian had a team total of 390, with each of their scoring runners placing in the top-140 scoring positions. The two-leading runners for the Knights were

Marian also had runners entered in the open 6K event, with the reserve team finishing seventh.
Elaina Herman led the team in the open with a 24:41 time, finishing ninth.
The Knights will next compete in a split-squad effort, with one unit running at the Ray Bullock Invite hosted by Taylor on October 10, with the other running at the Alabama-Huntsville Invite on October 11.
