Greenwood, Ind. - On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators announced its 2025 NAIA Football Academic All-District Team, with Marian University earning eight honors. Marian was one of seven schools in the Mid-States Football Association to earn CSC Academic All-District honors, while the Knights were one of four programs who earned the maximum eight honors.
The CSC Academic All-District award is given to a student-athlete who maintains a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically and having played in at least 90 percent, or started in 66 percent of their team's contests throughout the current season. Individuals must also have been nominated by their Sports Information Department to make the list.
Each football program is allowed up to eight nominations, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk on the attached document and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 27, 2026.

JT Downey,
Donovan Rhodes,
Aidan Wanner, and
Ben Uran.
Houseman, Woodall, Byerly, Wanner, and Downey were selected to be on the Academic All-America ballot. Houseman, Downey, and Uran each earned CSC Academic All-District honors in the 2024 season.Â
