JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from October 26 through November 1. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.

Madisyn Bailey earned the first CL Defensive POTW nod for the Knights, claiming the third honor of her career. Bailey opened the season strong for Marian, posting 4.3 defensive rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game to go with 8.7 points and 5.0 assists in three contests. The Junior's performance helped the Knights to a 2-1 clip with wins over Rochester Christian and (RV) William Carey.

Marian is back in action this Saturday as they host Culver-Stockton in their home opener slated for 3 PM in the P.E. Center.
