JACKSON, Mich. - For the fourth time this season, Marian women's basketball senior forward
Abbey McNally has been named both the Crossroads League Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week. This is a Crossroads League record fourth sweep of the honors in a single season, and brings her career total to 15 different CL Player of the Week honors.
McNally continued her torrid stretch of play on both ends of the court, leading No. 4 Marian with 19.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 1.5 steals and 1.5 assists per game in wins over RV IWU and RV Huntington. The reigning Crossroads League Player of the Year ended last week's run with her second 20-20 game of the season, putting up 23 points and 21 rebounds against Huntington to secure her 15th double-double of the season. Her Defensive Player of the Week honor was punctuated by a three-block and two-steal effort against the Foresters.
