Abbey McNally has swept the Crossroads League women's basketball player of the week honors, winning both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards. The two nods as player of the week bring McNally's career totals to 13, fifth on offense and eighth on defense.
Abbey McNally had a dominant week for Marian, leading the fifth-ranked Knights to home wins against Mount Vernon and Taylor. The senior scored 28 points in each game and finished the week averaging 16.5 rebounds per game along with 2.5 steals. The senior shot 67.7 percent from the field on the week, and in the Knights' 78-55 over (RV) Taylor on Saturday, she logged her fourth-career 20-20 game, scoring 28 points to go with 23 rebounds. McNally had 10 offensive rebounds and 13 defensive rebounds against Taylor, securing her 13th total double-double of the season.
Marian begins a three-game road stretch as the final two weeks of the regular season are upon the program, traveling to Grace College on Wednesday night for the first of three away.
