GREENWOOD, Ind. - On Tuesday, March 24, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and Academic All-America committee announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team. The Marian women's basketball program earned four CSC All-District Team honors this season, with
Madisyn Bailey,
Taylor Double,
Eva Fisher, and
Kenna Kirby earning the honor for the first time in their careers.
The honors add to the Knights' postseason award haul, coming one day after
Abbey McNally was named as the WBCA National Player of the Year in the NAIA. Marian was one of six schools to be represented from the Crossroads League, with three of the six teams earning the maximum four honors.
The CSC Academic All-District award is given to a student-athlete who maintains a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically and having played in at least 90 percent, or started in 66 percent of their team's contests throughout the current season. Individuals must also have been nominated by their Sports Information Department to make the list.
The honor bestowed upon Bailey, Double, Fisher, and Kirby are the first of their careers, and are the first Marian women's basketball players to earn the honor from the CSC.
The Knights will play Dordt University tonight in the NAIA National Championship game at 8:00 p.m. EDT. The game can be streamed on the NAIA Network and Urban Edge Network.
