Hilton Head, S.C. - The Marian women's tennis team finished off their Hilton Head trip with a 7-0 shutout win against Mount Vernon. The Knights are now 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the Crossroads League after the win.
Raigan Heflin and
Mckenna Snider took the forfeit win at No. 3 doubles, followed up by
Emma Chrome and
Mara Schad's quick 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles.
Maggie Bertram and
Paloma Caceres Villalba finished up doubles action with a 6-0 win at No. 1.
Hannah Royalty took a forfeit win at No. 6 singles to kick off action, followed up by Caceres Villalba's 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1. Chrome was able to extend the lead with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 while
Elisa Roccaforte took the 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 3. Bertram was the next to finish with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 while Schad wrapped up action with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6.
Marian will be back in action Thursday as they travel to Savannah, Georgia, to take on #9 Louisiana State University- Alexandria
