Indianapolis, Ind. - The Marian men's tennis recorded their second 6-1 ranked win this week taking down (RV) Lewis-Clark State Friday afternoon. After the win the Knights move to 11-8 overall on the year. 

Lewis-Clark State struck first taking a pair of 6-3 wins at doubles over James Asworth and Marcos Ramos Cabrera at No. 1 and Iyan Cresens and Marc Soriano at No. 3. Mateo Guerin and Juan Garcia-Tunon went unfinished at No. 2 trailing 4-3. 

The Knights were quick to push back securing a singles point with Ramos Cabrera taking the 6-0 and 6-3 win at No. 4. Marian was able to take the 2-1 lead with another 6-2 and 7-6(5) for Guerin at No. 3. The Knights continued to extend their lead with a 7-6 (4) and 6-2 win at No. 1 for Asworth followed by a 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 win for Soriano at No. 2. Garcia-Tunon took the next win at No. 5, 6-7(0), 6-2, and 1-0(6). Followed by Jan Bartolome taking the final win at No. 6, 6-0, 5-7, 1-0(3). 

Marian will be back in action on Tuesday, April 7th as they travel up to Winona Lake, Ind. to take on No. 20 Grace in another ranked match up with doubles action starting at 12 PM.
