Box Score Winona Lake, Ind. - The Marian men's tennis team fell Monday afternoon to No. 20 Grace on the road. After the loss Marian moves to 11-9 overall on the year and 4-3 in the Crossroads League.

Grace got off to an early lead winning No. 3 doubles 6-0 over Iyan Cresens and Marc Soriano followed up by their 6-4 win at No. 2 over Mateo Guerin and Juan Garcia-Tunon. The Lancers took the full sweep of doubles after a hard fought 7-5 win over James Asworth and Marcos Ramos Cabrera.

With the 1-0 lead over Marian the Lancers took another point with the 6-2 and 6-1 win over Ramos Cabrera at No. 4. Jan Bartolome was able to counter with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6 followed by Guerin's 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 3. With the match all tied up 2-2 the Lancers were able to pull ahead with a 7-5 and 6-3 win over Soriano followed by a hard fought 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 win over Asworth at No. 1. Grace took the 5-2 win with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 win over Garcia-Tunon at No. 5 to finish out the match.

Marian will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Marion, Ind. to take on the Wildcats starting at 11 am.
