Lane Zedrick's one-over round, the Marian men's golf team is in a tie for 15th at the NAIA Championship following the first round of the tournament on Tuesday at TPC Deere Run. Zedrick is in 13th overall following day one.

Lane Zedrick's 71 in the first round, as he finished one shot over par on day one. The junior fired three birdies to balance out four bogies. Zedrick tied for 13th after day one of the tournament, sitting in strong position to advance past the cut line on Wednesday.
Behind Zedrick,
Weston Ogden,
Nolan Potter, and
Augie Mann are all tied for 78th, as the senior trio shot scores of 76. Potter hit three birdies in his round, and Ogden had 12 holes at par.Â
Brody Holubar finished the day tied for 140th, scoring an 81.
The Knights will tee off tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Eastern, aiming to make the cut for the final two rounds as a team. Marian is in 15th overall after day one following their 299 team score. The Knights are in a logjam at 15th with Columbia, British Columbia, and Webber International.Â
