GREENWOOD, Ind. - For the second consecutive season, Marian men's golf has earned an Academic All-American, as
Weston Ogden was one of the 10 NAIA athletes named to the 2025-26 Academic All-America Men's At-Large Second Team on Wednesday, July 8. The honor, presented by College Sport Communicators (CSC), is the second in program history for the men, and third overall for Marian men's and women's golf, as Ogden joins Keara Eder, who was named on Tuesday to the women's First Team.
Weston Ogden was one of the team's leaders this past season, as the senior capped his career by being named to the NAIA All-America First Team in addition to his recent honor as a Second Team Academic All-American. Ogden was a member of the All-Crossroads League First Team for the third consecutive year and helped Marian win the CL Championship for the fourth consecutive season. The senior then played an integral role in helping Marian finish fourth at the NAIA National Championship, setting a program record for best overall finish at the championship. Ogden finished fifth in the tournament, hitting a heroic eagle on hole 17 to help both his and the team's finish.
For the season, Ogden, a finance major who graduated with a 3.8 GPA, held a record of 749-138-9 on the season, and won two tournaments individually, placing in the top three in another three events. The senior was ranked No. 11 in the nation according to the Clippd NAIA rankings, and averaged an adjusted 70.1 per round. Ogden was named to the NAIA Tournament Team after carding his 285 at the national championship and was named to the Crossroads League and NAIA Scholar-Athlete teams.
Five members of the 22-man Academic All-America® NAIA at-large teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate or graduate work. The NAIA honorees combined for a 3.82 GPA.
