Newton, Kan. —- The 11th-ranked Marian University Men's Golf team kicked off its fall season on Monday at The Mid-South Classic, highlighted by Ryan Cesare's hole-in-one in his first collegiate round with the team.

INDIVIDUAL LEADERS

- Drew Hardin fired rounds of 70 and 68 to sit in a tie for second at -6, one shot back of the individual leader

- Senior Lane Zedrick fired a one-under 71 in round two to stand +2 after two rounds, good for T23

- Brody Holubar and Kai Warner stand in a tie for 44th with rounds of 75-75 and 76-74, respectively

- Competing as an individual, Cesare aced the 183-yard 13th hole in round one in his first collegiate round on his way to an opening-round 70

TEAM UPDATE

- Marian sits sixth out of 16 teams, 13 shots behind Northwestern (Iowa), who leads at -6
