Jackson, Mich. — Catawba College senior golfer Lane Zedrick was named the Crossroads League Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
 
Zedrick earned a runner-up finish at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan Sept. 7-8.
 
The Fishers native went 73-72-67 at Purdue University's Birck Boilermaker Golf Course in West Lafayette to lead the Knights to a sixth-place finish. Zedrick's 67 on Tuesday was good for the second lowest round in the field that day.
 
Marian Men's Golf is off this week before returning to action at the Northwest Iowa National Invitational in Le Mars, Iowa, next Monday and Tuesday.
