WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. - The Marian women's golf team sits tied for third after day one of their fall opening at the Wildcat Fall Invite, hosted at Purdue University's Ackerman-Allen Course.

Emma Weiler leads the way for the Knights after two rounds of play, sitting in sixth place with a 74-77 outing. In the opening round, Weiler recorded three birdies, then followed up in round two with a pair as well as an eagle. Miley Kennard and Hailey Kirkland trail Weiler, both tied for 21st place. Miley Kennard currently sits with a 78-76 outing, opening up play with a two-birdie round. Kennard finished up the day with a trio of birdies to drop her score by two. Kirkland recorded a 73-81 outing, tallying four birdies in round one and a pair in round two.

Jordan Adam is close behind Kirkland and Kennard, sitting at T23 with an 81-74 outing, tallying one birdie in round one and a trio of birdies in round two. Maria Kennard rounds out the team tied for 32nd after two rounds. Kennard recorded a pair of 79 outings with two birdies in the opening round and three in the second. 

Playing as an individual Freshman Alex Reschley sits in sixth place, recording an outing of 75-76 through two rounds. Reschley recorded a pair of birdies in both rounds one and two. 

Marian looks to improve their placement tomorrow, with the final round beginning at 1:45 p.m.
