Indianapolis — Marian University redshirt junior Cade Houseman and sophomore CJ Harris were named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
 
Houseman recorded five tackles and a 37-yard pick-six in Marian's 53-0 win at Defiance on Saturday. The Knights recorded their third shutout of the last two seasons.
 
Harris returned a free kick 77 yards for a touchdown just minutes later. He later scored a rushing touchdown in the win.
 
The Knights return to action in The Franciscan Bowl on Saturday, facing 17th-ranked Saint Francis (Ind.) at 7 p.m.
