West Lafayette, Ind. — The 11th-ranked Marian University men's golf team placed sixth at the Wildcat Invitational hosted at Purdue University's Ackerman-Allen Course on Tuesday.
 
Senior Lane Zedrick fired a four-under par 67 in his final round, good for the second lowest round of the day to rise to a runner-up finish at the event.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zedrick picked up three birdies on the front to go out in 33; an eagle at the par-5 16th helped him shoot a four-under 67
- Kai Warner added a T-5 finish with an even-par 71 to remain at 5-over for the tournament.
- Drew Hardin finished T-27 with a final-round 79
- Ryan Cesare shot a 76 to improve to a T-37 finish as the Knights' individual
- Brody Holubar (40) and Drew Werkley (T41) rounded out the Marian lineup
