Scott Satterthwaite enters his first season as assistant coach for the Marian University baseball program.
 
As an MPA and development professional, Satterthwaite has consulted such organizations as Play Ball Indiana - an affiliate organization of Major League Baseball's Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities Program - and Zionsville Little League's Showcase program on their programming and fundraising needs. He also assisted with the design of each program's player evaluation tools and coaching curricula.
 
Satterthwaite has been actively involved in the game of baseball for over 30 years as a player, coach, instructor and evaluator. He received a scholarship to compete in baseball at Division II and Great Lakes Valley Conference power St. Joseph's College after being selected as All-City and a City-County All-Star in 1991.
 
He currently plays for the Indy Stallions Semi-Professional Baseball Club, a nationally ranked outfit that has dominated IABL over the last seven seasons.
 
Satterthwaite earned his bachelor of science degree from St. Joseph's College in 1995 and earned a master of public affairs in 2009 from Indiana University. He currently resides in Indianapolis.
