Brandon Rooze serves as the quarterbacks coach for Marian after being hired in April 2018. Prior to joining Mark Henninger's staff, Rooze served for one year as the wide receiver coach at his alma mater, Trine University, in Angola, Indiana.

While at Trine, Rooze coached two all-conference performers in Jeffery Barnett (1st Team) and Andrew Bonfigilio (2nd Team) and helped guide the Thunder to one of the best statistical offensive seasons in program history during the 2017 season. The 2017 Thunder broke the program records for average yards per pass and rushing yards per game while also recording the second most total points scored in a season.

Additionally, Rooze helped lead Trine to the second-most efficient passing attack in D3 during the 2017 season and the offensive unit was sixth in scoring offense nationally and fourth in the country in rush yards per game.

While coaching at Trine, the team earned a final mark of 11-1, including a perfect 10-0 regular season and an appearance in the sweet sixteen of the D3 national playoffs.

Prior to coaching at Trine, Rooze played quarterback for four years, while serving as a team captain and academic all-region performer in his senior campaign. Rooze graduated in 2017 with a degree in math education.
