Wes Stowers, also known as "Mr. Marian", returns to his alma mater in the 2023 season to join the Marian men's basketball staff as an assistant coach.
Stowers, one of the greatest players in program history, is Marian's all-time scoring leader and was a two-time NAIA All-American. Stowers was a three-time All-Crossroads League honoree, and in his playing career became Marian's single-season scoring leader and logged the most minutes in a career.
After graduation, Stowers began working at Eli Lily in Indianapolis, and has been an assistant coach at North Central High School on the men's basketball staff.
