• Breena Smith joined the Marian coaching staff in her first season out of college in 2020, and enters her sixth season with the Knights in 2024-25
• Smith played for Marian from 2016-2019, graduating as the best pitcher in program history
• A four-year starter in the circle, Smith was a four-time Crossroads League Pitcher of the Year, and was a three-time NAIA First Team All-American selection
• Helped lead Marian to the NAIA World Series for four consecutive seasons, Marian's longest streak of World Series Appearances in program history
  • Led the team through NAIA Opening Round wins in Columbia and Bowling Green, Kentucky, Costa Mesa, California, and Springfield, Missouri
• Named to the NAIA World Series Tournament Team twice, as a freshman and senior
• Holds nearly every major Marian University pitching record for a career and single season
