Lanie Horen enters her second season coaching for her alma mater in 2023-24, two years after graduating from Marian in the spring of 2021.
Horen ended her five-year playing career at Marian as one of the top center fielders in program history, ending her career with the program fielding percentage record of .996. Horen was a three-time Crossroads League Gold Glove winner in her playing days, and ended her career with 203 starts in five seasons.
Lanie ended her career with a .347 batting average, making 198 base hits. Helped lead Marian to three NAIA World Series Apperances and four NAIA Opening Round Tournaments in her five seasons.
