Hired in the summer of 2023, this will be Martine’s first year as an assistant coach for Marian University’s women’s volleyball team.
He has played volleyball for the past eight years and is continuing to play at a high level. He began his volleyball career at Zionsville High School and played varsity freshman year. He lettered his sophomore year. He made All-State, Academic All-State, and the Indiana All-Star team. During his senior year at Zionsville, he was an assistant coach for the freshmen girls’ volleyball team and managed the varsity team.
He made Indiana University Men’s Volleyball club team and started on their A team. In 2022 the IU Men’s Volleyball team finished ninth in the nation in Phoenix, AZ. Besides playing club for Indiana University, he was given the opportunity to be a practice player for the Indiana University Women’s Volleyball D1 team. He has coached volleyball summer camps for Indiana University as well.
He recently graduated in May 2023 from Indiana University with a B.S. in Biology with a Concentration in Disease with highest distinction. He will attend Marian University’s Osteopathic School of Medicine to become a physician starting this fall
