Mike Beckner comes to Marian after spending several seasons of working with FC Pride. Beckner, who holds a United States Soccer Federation National "B" coaching license, began his affiliation with FC Pride in 2016.  At FC Pride, he coached the 02 ECNL team and the 01 Red team for four years.  In those four years, the 02 team reached the ECNL Elite 8, and the FC Pride 01 Red team captured back-to-back Indiana State Cup championships. He currently is the head coach of Pride's 07 and 08 ECNL teams. 

Prior coaching experience also includes a stint as coach of the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association. At ZYSA, Mike coached two US Club National Championship teams, and was the first coach to lead of a team from Indiana to the USYS National League. Beckner has also coached within the Indiana ODP system and was part of U.S. Club Soccer id2 staff. 

Beckner is a 2005 graduate of the University of Saint Joseph's College, where he earned his degree in accounting information systems and was a four-year letter winner. He served as captain in his last season with the Pumas.
