INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian football team is aiming to end their home slate in the 2024 season on a high note, as the Knights host Judson University for their senior day game. Kickoff is for 1:05 p.m. from Ascension St. Vincent Field.

LAST TIME OUT
The Knights earned a road victory last Saturday, taking down St. Xavier 31-20 for the team's sixth victory of the season. Marian's defense recorded eight sacks in their road victory, and had a pair of rushing touchdowns from Keagan La Belle in the win. Tristan Polk passed and ran for a touchdown, while defensively Isaiah Street earned MSFA Midwest League Defensive Player of the Week honors after his 3.5 sack performance.

THE SERIES
Marian and Judson are meeting for just the second time in series history. Last year, in the first meeting, Marian won 40-6, getting strong performances from the ground game in the win. William Gibson highlighted the offense with a 94-yard touchdown run, the longest in program history, while Tristan Polk threw a long catch-and-run touchdown pass to Jalen Jennings. Joe Owens earned MSFA Midwest Special Teams Player of the Week honors last year after blocking a punt for a touchdown. 

Marian is 6-2 entering the matchup and still are vying for a playoff run, while Judson is playing for pride over the final two weeks, entering the game with a 1-7 record on the season. Judson has fallen in their last seven games.

TICKETS
Tickets for Saturday's game are on sale now, general admission starts at $10. Free tickets are available to all active and former military members with the team's Salute to Service game with a valid ID.

NEW FEATURES AT ASCENSION ST. VINCENT FIELD
Marian football games will hold a pair of new features this season, with the Merchants Bank video board highlighting the south end zone. Live replays and video will echo on the field throughout the game, Also new at Marian football games are beer sales, with Beir Brewing selling their products at Marian games. POSTGAME ATHLETIC EVENTS
After the game, fans can stick around and support the Marian women's soccer and volleyball programs. Volleyball plays Huntington in the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals at 6:00 p.m. while the women's soccer team plays Indiana Wesleyan in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals.
