Upland, Ind. - The Marian women's cross country team finished fourth overall in the women's 6k race Friday morning. The Knights competed at the 2024 Crossroads League Championships hosted by Taylor University claiming 95 points and were led by
Katie Woods' second place finish.
Katie Woods dominated at the top of the leader board all race and led the Knights with a second place finish clocking a time of 21:10.10. Woods claimed an All-Conference honor as well as punched her ticket to the NAIA National Championships.
Summer Rempe was the next to finish in 18th overall clocking a time of 22:51.80.
Vivienne Siefker was the third to finish for Marian in 25th overall with a time of 23:03.30.
Nora Steele finished in 27th overall with a time of 23:14.10.
Emma Beimfohr was the next to cross the line for Marian with a time of 23:32.50 to claim 33rd overall.
Gracynn Hinkley finished shortly after in 34th place with a time of 23:33.50.
Lindsay Huston was the next to claim points for the Knights finishing in 48th with a time of 24:02.70.

Josie Feldman,
Emily Baker,
Emersyn Weaver, and Lucie Woodrum finished behind the pack of Knights in; 56th ,59th ,68th ,76th ,79th, and 100th place. Fields clocked a time of 24:27.70 while Roth claimed a time of 24:31.60 and Feldman finished with a 24:50.10. Baker crossed the finish line clocking a time of 25:08.20 while Weaver finished with a time of 25:23.40 and Woodrum clocked a 26:35.21.
Taylor, Grace, and Indiana Wesleyan claimed the top three placements as a team in the Crossroads League Championships. The Knights will await results to find out if they will travel as a team with
Katie Woods to Columbia, Mo. for the NAIA National Championships on November 22nd.
