GREENWOOD, Ind. - The 2026 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams were announced on Tuesday, June 23, selected by College Sports Communicators, and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Marian women's track and field and cross country programs were recognized for the second consecutive year, as the Knights earned the maximum six honors in the 2025-26 year.
Marian's honorees in 2025-26 include
Hanna Reuter,
Holli Reuter,
Katie Woods,
Claire Lange,
Summer Rempe, and
Emma Edwards.
Eligible nominees for the CSC Academic All-America program must maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically, and must rank in the top-25 in their conference or region, based on TFRRS rankings at the time of nomination. The event can be a singular event, either indoor or outdoor, and must be based on an individual event.
Each institution is allowed up to six nominations per gender for cross country and track, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on July 14 and 15.
All six members of Marian's Academic All-District Team played a role in the team's 2026 NAIA Indoor National Championship, which ultimately led to Marian being named the 2025-26 USTFCCCA Women's Track and Cross Country Program of the Year.
Katie Woods headlined Marian's success as an All-American in cross country as well as both indoor and outdoor track, winning an individual national championship in the indoor mile. Woods, along with
Summer Rempe, helped Marian win its first-ever national championship in the 4x800m relay, while Hanna and
Holli Reuter,
Claire Lange, and
Emma Edwards were members of Marian's 2026 All-American 4x400m relay team at the indoor championship.
Four of Marian's six honorees will move forward to the Academic All-America ballot, with
Hanna Reuter, Woods, Rempe, and Edwards earning the distinction.
Marian was one of six Crossroads League schools to earn an honor, joining Taylor, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Grace, Indiana Wesleyan, and Goshen. The Knights, Wildcats, Lancers, and Trojans each earned the maximum six honors per school.
